On Saturday July 14th, The Metroball youth were able to meet two of the USA Olympic Basketball Team members Lebron James (Miami Heat) and Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers) at our home gym, the #2 Boys and Girls Club. The youth thought they were just filming a Powerade commercial but were very surprised when the two NBA stars walked into the gym. These two towered over everyone and sat down to talk to the youth about everything basketball. After a brief question and answer period, they ran some shooting drills with the youth. We would like to thank Powerade for supporting the NY Ave Classic and all of the Metroball programs. This was a day that our youth would never forget.
