It’s that time of the year again. If its getting close to summer, that means The Metroball New York Ave Classic Summer Youth Streetball Tournament is about to take hold of the youth in the Washington DC Area!! This will be the 16th year of this event that continues to grow every summer since it’s existence in 2000!! This year the Kick-Off is scheduled for Saturday, June 18th.
CITY SLAM, ESPN, Under Armour, Shoe City, and Brisk are coming back again to help us kick-off the Tournament with a new crop of the best and most exciting Slam Dunkers in the world to compete for more than $5k cash and the right to go to the Slam Dunk Championship in Orlando! This event will be featured on ESPN2 along with highlights from the games played at the New York Ave Playground. There will be giveaways and prizes for all in attendance.
